Service Description

The mental health crisis within our own state has been on the rise for years. The further that we stray away from patience and delayed gratification - and deeper into peer pressure, bully or clique mentality, and lack of communication, the harder it can become to find a sense of purpose, wholeness, and oneness. Yoga by definition means to yoke, or to connect. In this 5 day immersion, July 10th-14th, teens aging 13-18 will learn necessary life skills to help calm their nervous system, take them out of fight or flight, and learn yoga ethics of nonviolence, inner peace, and self-commitment. This training will give lifelong tools that can help combat excessive negative energy, and transmute it to something positive. Students will receive a certificate of completion - to be able to share their mindful tools with others, or continue with a 200hr yoga teacher training in the future. Pricing will be on a sliding scale, to help make this as affordable and accessible as possible. If you don't have a teen, but wish to support this training - donations are accepted to sponsor those who may not be financially available for this training.
